SCOTT DICKERSON--Scott's works may be found on his own website, Tom Swift Lives! These include his updated and reimagined versions of the Tom Swift Jr. stories (minus Galaxy Ghosts which he has replaced with an all-new story of infinitely higher quality) plus his original novels continuing on with the series. As part of his reimagining, several old characters have been replaced with fresher ones, and his Tom is no longer the son of Tom Swift Sr., that man having been his great grandfather. Scott self-publishes his books in collectable hand-bound volumes with custom art adorning paper covers. They may be found on his site. He also publishes hardback editions for many of the other authors on this page. Feb 2022 UPDATE: With 49 novels in his collection, Scott's most recent books are: TOM SWIFT and His Ocean-Eye Camera -- TOM SWIFT and His Cybrid Synaptor -- Tom Swift and His Plasmon Polaritron -- and Tom Swift and His Cosmos on Earth. Scott has also released his works (plus some interesting new non-Tom novels) on Amazon.com Visit Scott's New TOM SWIFT LIVES! Site

But in 2011 he undertook to create a cross-over story featuring some of the Buffyverse characters and Tom Swift. This is a Tom Jr. who is several decades older, but still up for having fun and adventure. Now there are three in this miniseries. Only time and his inclination will tell if this is it or if there might be another novel coming some day. "VICTOR APPLESON" -- Did you know there is a steampunk "Swift" series written under a slighlty changed pseudonym and staring James Swift? James Swift would have been a contemporary of Barton Swift here in America back in the late 1800s. He is British and is the son of a famous inventor over there. This series has the distinction of being written using actual or possible technology of the day and not a munch of wind-up fighter elephants, or other such nonsense. WOODROW W. WALKER--Although he has been writing in other genres for several years, this is his first Tom Swift book. It is a follow-on story to Tom's Electronic Retroscope from the Tom Swift, Jr. series. |
